About Hero Kids
What is Hero Kids?
It’s a Red Cross initiative for families, bringing to life important values like kindness, patience, humour and gratitude for little ones. It’s a monthly subscription, where for $25 per month you’ll get a range of entertaining family activities delivered to your letterbox every month. Your children will learn about doing good, and your regular ongoing contribution helps to power the work of Red Cross.
Where does the money go?
By signing up to Hero Kids you’re supporting the work of Red Cross to bring opportunities for young people to shine, comfort in times of disaster and companionship to those facing hard times.
What's in each pack?
Each pack is focused on one of our four heroes and features a range of family activities, crafts that can be done at home, and stories to help your little one learn about the work of Red Cross and the importance of being kind, patient, thankful and having fun.
Your welcome pack will be delivered first and is chock full with a Hero Kids sticker sheet, fun activity cards, Parent’s Guide and Hero Kids storybook
Can I subscribe for more than one child?
Absolutely! Doing the activity packs with a sibling, friend or relative is a great idea. Each additional subscription is $25 per month.
Can I give the subscription as a gift?
Gifting a Hero Kids subscription is a great idea. When completing your subscription, simply add the recipients details into the shipping address and yours into the billing address.
Can I sign up to Hero Kids if I live outside of Australia?
Unfortunately, due to postage costs, we are only able to distribute Hero Kids packs within Australia.
Is there an age limit?
No, the activities work for kids of all ages, but are best suited to your 3 to 8-year-old heroes.
Is this a donation?
Your $25 subscription payment each month is not tax deductible.
What if I don't receive my pack?
Please allow up to 14 days for the delivery of your welcome pack. After that you should receive your packs at the same time every month (give or take a few days for weekends and public holidays). If you haven’t received a pack, or you have any questions at all about Hero Kids, please contact our friendly Customer Care Team on 1800 733 276 or at contactus@redcross.org.au.
Can I cancel if I no longer want to continue with the subscription?
You can unsubscribe at any time over the 6 months. Please note we need at least 7 days notice to process a cancellation.
